Time frames
Pre-production (3 to 6 months):
Selection of the production team members, director and assistant directors (up to 4), budgetting, materials, story producers, story board, team of writers, determining locations or studio requirements, themes, genre and scope, writing the screenplay, casting director, casting the leads, casting the minor roles, screentests, camera operators and assistants, technical teams (3D, 4K, multicamera etc.) are selected, costumes, set designs, sound engineering, editors and all other roles are assignedProduction (3 to 6 months):
Rehearsals and test shoots, still photographer, set photography, trainings, coaching for the actors, shoot on location, in the studioPost-production (3 months):
Editing studio and location, sound editing, special effectsThere was a time, when film studios gave money to the filmmakers and let them have all the freedom to make their film. That was the time, when the best and most groundbreaking movies were made. The pressure to make even more money restricts creativity today. However, to make a movie, some money is required. MAF is a solution to make films without that pressure from studios or production companies.
